Key Operator

Key Operators (Keyops) are Copier Program customers designated as contact people who coordinate the service and supplies for specific Copier Program devices

1. Key Management: The key controller is responsible for receiving and safely storing vehicle keys from customers when they arrive at the valet service.

2. Organization: They maintain a systematic and organized method for storing and retrieving keys to ensure that each key is easily accessible and can be matched with the corresponding vehicle.

3. Labeling and Identification: To avoid any confusion or mix-ups, key controllers typically label each key with a unique identifier or code that corresponds to the specific vehicle. This helps in quick and accurate retrieval.

4. Tracking System: Many valet companies use computerized or manual tracking systems to log key details, including the vehicle’s make and model, license plate number, and the time and date of key drop-off and pickup.

5. Security: Security is of utmost importance. Key controllers must ensure that the key storage area is secure and that only authorized personnel have access to the keys.

6. Key Handover: When a customer requests their vehicle, the key controller retrieves the corresponding key and hands it over to the valet driver responsible for parking or retrieving the vehicle.
